The Falcon Players are gearing up for their next show at the magnificent Stanford Hall Theatre from Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th June 2003 with the fast paced comedy ‘Touch and Go’, their 126th production.

When Brian takes up jogging his wife Hilary is not surprised as she has often told him he should exercise more. But when Brian is ostensibly running round the park he is, in fact, spending a couple of hours with his girlfriend, Wendy, in his good friend George’s flat. Helpful George is very happy with this arrangement, for while Brian is visiting Wendy, he knows the coast is clear for him to enjoy his own dalliance with Brian’s wife, Hilary.

Oh what tangled webs we weave!  But, as in all good comedies, the best-laid plans never quite work out and it’s all plain sailing until George’s wife Jessica returns early from a business trip to America and really puts the cat among the pigeons. Will Brian and George be found out? Well at times it’s Touch and Go!

‘Touch and Go’ will feature Alan Whiteland and Andy Holt in the roles of unfaithful husbands Brian and George. Two of the group’s newest members will also be taking to the Stanford Hall stage in the roles of Wendy and Jessica, which will be played by Roxie Cross and Tina Addington. The group is pleased to announce that Falcon Players debutant Tania Cound will be on stage as Hilary in this wonderfully funny play that was written by the ever popular Derek Benfield.

Tickets are now on sale from the Town Hall Box Office, Market Place, Loughborough and cost only £6.00 each. Concessions are available for our Wednesday and Thursday evening shows at only £5.00 each. Further details can be obtained by calling 01509 231914.
