The Falcon Players are preparing to take to the stage again at the Cope Auditorium, Loughborough from Wednesday 21st to Saturday 24th February presenting the hit Alan Ayckbourn comedy RolePlay.
The show is the second comedy performed by the Falcon Players in their 50th season following the success of Noises Off in October 2006 and will be performed at 7.30pm each evening.
Set in London’s docklands, RolePlay opens as Justin and Julie, a couple in their twenties, are preparing to receive their respective parents for dinner where they intend to announce their engagement. Nerves abound as this will be the first meeting for both parties but that’s nothing compared to the crisis that develops when a gangster’s girlfriend and his minder take refuge in their flat. Chaos abounds as they insist on staying for dinner as they await the gangster’s return.
Tickets cost from £7.50-£8.00 and are available from the the Falcon Players Box Office located at the Town Hall Visitors Centre, Market Place, Loughborough. Credit/debit card bookings can also be made by calling the box office on 01509 231914. The box office is open between 10.00am and 5.30pm.
